The hotel has recently received significant investment, and is looking to recruit quality personnel to drive the business forward.The role will see you assist in the day to day running of the food and beverage operation in order to ensure that a consistently high level of service is offered to our guests.The ideal candidate will be a positive, friendly individual who would like to join a like-minded team with excellent communication skills, have total commitment to customer service, high standards of grooming and most of all flexibility to meet our guests’ needs. Responsibilities include:

  • Bar work and food service

The hourly rate for this position is in line with the national minimum wage. You will also be paid a portion of any service charge and tips.

Head Housekeeper


County Lodge and Brasserie

The County Lodge and Brasserie are seeking a passionate Head Housekeeper to lead the day to day running of the small housekeeping team.

In this hands on role you will look to drive the productivity, motivation and development of all the Housekeeping team, whilst ensuring high standards and company guidelines are maintained.

Experience in a previous deputy or head Housekeeping ideally gained in hotels will assist you in securing this position. Must be flexible and able to work weekend.

Duties and Responsibilities :

To be considered you must have the following experience.

*Dealing with suppliers of linen, cleaning materials and guest supplies, such as soap, shampoo, etc

*Controlling supply costs, as well as laundry, maintenance and wages.

*Overseeing stock takes, budgets and other paperwork, such as maintenance reports and safety audits.

*Ensuring lost property is kept safely and returned to its owner.

*Overseeing supervisors and linen rooms and cleaning supplies.

Required Skills:

*Ability to nurture a good working relationship with other departments.

*Stunning time management skills so you can juggle your many duties.

*Attention to detail to ensure rooms are spic and span and well serviced and that equipment is stored safely.

*A stickler for health and safety as some staff may need to be trained to use hazardous cleaning materials.
